Fables, Myths, and Fairy Tales. This two day a week, six week group tutoring class provides a fast and thorough introduction to structured and stylish writing for grades 4-6 using the techniques of Excellence in Writing. Through thematic stories, students will be tutored on how to effectively take notes from their reading, create outlines from key concepts, develop paragraphs from outlines, master the art of retelling narratives both orally and in written form, create concise summaries of reference materials, and even craft their own fables, myths, or fairy tales. Additionally, students will gain valuable skills in editing, formatting, and enhancing their writing with decorations, dress-ups, and advanced vocabulary to create engaging and enjoyable compositions.* Grades 4-6, Join writing tutor Brooke Finley from Brooke Finley Learning Center LLC live on Zoom. You will attend Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. The schedule includes sessions on April 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27, May 2, and May 4 2023. After receiving a purchase order from the educational institution, Brooke Finley, the tutor, will accept the student into the group lesson. The Zoom link, instructions, and tutoring policies will be sent to the parents' email address for them to read, sign, and return. It is important to note that space is limited, and there are no make-up lessons. However, all tutoring lessons will be recorded if needed. If a student misses a lesson, they will be able to access a recording of the missed lesson.
